The 'Red Kite' Or MRF-70 Was designed by Avalon.Aerospace.Systems For the Kingdom of Avalon in the Mid to late 60s.

Originally a purely fighter based aircraft only able to fit Air to Air ordnance of missles without even a gun. This was as at the time of designing the Red kite it was forseen by the K.A.A.F (Kingdom of Avalon Air force) that Gun on Gun dogfights were a relic of the past. Fortunately this was soon fixed in later variations with a addition of a 15mm Powered Rotary chain cannon fitted in a pod on the underside of the fuselage as to the pleasing of the Avalonian pilots.

The Red Kite was in it's later years relegated more and more into the Cas and multirole orientation with more hard points for various weapon systems added and a upgraded wing spine for heavier payloads of bombs, rocket's, gunpods, Jammers, ect. It turned out to be quite the success in this role as more advance fighters made the Red kite more obsolete in its original role but dont under estimate its speed and power because it still can catch out more modern aircraft even if its turns and handles like a brick.
