Auto Credit Based on Teus's Boat Challenge

The Riva Aquarama was a luxury wooden runabout built from 1962 until 1996. The boat's speed, beauty, and craftsmanship earned it praise as the Ferrari of the boat world (interestingly made with Lamborghini engines).

This model is accurate is style and I tried to keep the speed to a reasonable number. Yaw turns the boat and rotates the steering wheel. VTOL opens the engine bay.

This is amazing. But if I were you, I would have put the flag on a free-spinning rotator... If you ever want to revisit this design....

Amazing. The engine bay is cool, as its fun to see the inside. It also affectivley works as a brake if used properly, apparently. anyway, 5/5 for a great replica, and fast and fun-to-drive boat.

@qwert13357, it's just an airbrake stuck onto a rotator with a wing connecting them.

@Zing2000 eh who knows, all up to teus in the end. More importantly, we got some killer boats out of all of this.

@ teus @weebabyseamus and all that appreciate the little moving details, I've been playing more with this with good results. Put a servo under the flag and set to: yaw, 15deg, 40% and the flag with flap in the breeze as you turn!

@wakescar, you're absolutely right. My understanding is that Riva and other builders like Chris Craft and Gar Wood took many design cues from the early Hacker's. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to see some of the Hacker beauties up where I live.

This is fantastic, the engine compartment has to be my favorite detail. This is what i was hoping would come out of this competition. Good job!
