The X-T.Japzerpak is a medium tank destroyer developed by the Republic-Chill as the main breakthrough weapon for armored divisions.
Several senior officers recognized the need for tank destroyers that could act as shields for breakthroughs, so they asked several chief engineers to develop and produce the X-T.Japzerpak. In trials, its mobility and thick armor allowed it to attack and retreat, but the turret traverse speed and long reload time limited its power, and a variant armed with a 105mm gun is awaiting approval for production.
