The PzKW 2000 was a military equipment project carried out by the German Armed Forces from 1988 to 1992. Its aim was to replace the Leopard 1 tank after the mid-1999 update. Unlike traditional main battle tank designs, this tank was planned to have only two crew members and most of its functions would be automated.
