ROC Luxemvania is the first Dreadnought Battleship built by the Crafitanyan Navy in 1854. She was built in response to the Imperial Southern Navy's first Dreadnought, Formidable, which was already in service. She was built during the early years of The Great War of Coalitions.

Development

The arrival of Formidable on the Naval Warfare made a great impact on the current Naval Warfare in Great Country. The Western Navies responded to this threat with the creating their own Dreadnoughts. The Crafitanyan Naval Ministry ordered their architects to create a powerful ship that is able to level Formidable, this time they focused on massive armor and an additional speed. They draw a different weapon layout design abandoning the Centerline weapon layout and creating the winged weapon layout. The ship was intended to have a speed of 22 knots which can counter Formidable herself. She was to be armed by either 14 Inch guns or 13.5 inch guns, this was debated by the Naval Ministers itself as the 13 Inch Guns have a much higher rate of fire than those of 14 Inch guns. But it was neglected by saying that the 13 Inches weren't powerful enough to penetrate the Armor of Formidable thus they wisely choose the 14 Inch as the main weapon. The drawing was finished in the mid September 1853 and the construction was started on early October 1853. She was named Luxemvania, the capital of the Crafitanyan Republic, she was launched on mid January of 1854.

Characteristics

Luxemvania possessed a wide Hull, presumably to carry the 2 wing gun mounts on both Port and Starboard. 2 Iron Poles present on Fore and Aft. She also possess a tall Bridge. She was armed with 8x Exelior made 14 Inch Mark 1 Guns as the main armament and can fire 2 rounds per minute. For her secondaries she was armed with Exelior made 6x 5 inch mark 1 guns. For her power (which I did not add in-game), she had 15x Type 4 Exelior Boilers which produces 30,000 hp. For her Propulsion, she had 4 screws and 4 Triple-expansion steam engines. She achieved the top speed of 22 knots.

Service History

Commisioned in late January of 1854, she did not participate in any engagements as she was finishing her trainings. Most early Coalition Dreadnoughts did not attempt or even fully finished their trainings due to the Imperial South Grim's pressure. Only the Dreadnought Luxemvania was able to finish her trainings during the invasion of The Imperial South Grim. She debut in the Action of 13th February were she damaged 5 Vessels. She participated in the The Battle of Greater Sea, there she encountered the Imperial Southern Fleet but Formidable wasn't present, she sunk 7 Vessels, 3 warships and 4 auxiliaries. She was also present in the Battle of Monsetorri Sea in 1855 where she encountered the sister Dreadnoughts Glorious and Victorious, the successors of Formidable. Although she was older than the 2 new Dreadnoughts, she continued to lead the Crafitanyan Naval Forces and won the Battle. She was also present in the Battle of Hoyaker Strait, The Battle of Gernoria and the Invasion of Ikemen. Her service in The Great War of Coalitions made her the most decorated ship in the Crafitanyan History. Being the one of the 2 Dreadnoughts present on the Southern Actions in The Great War of Coalitions created a big challenge to her officers and her crew but nevertheless she won all the engagements. She continued to serve the Crafitanyan Navy for 2 more years before retiring permanently. She was reflourished and was sent to inland Crafitanya to be a museum ship.

Only the Fore and Aft turrets are free from Ags. The Ags worked the same as the past designs although in order to made the wing guns work, certain Ags are assigned to them. All the controls are the same.
