The Hummingbird is a lightweight, unarmed configuration of the AH-7. The Hummingbird was designed to be lighter and more maneuverable than its armed counterpart. Deployed mostly for counter insurgency operations, the OH-7 has often seen use in urban areas dropping off light reenforcements and performing MEDEVACs. The Hummingbird is also equipped with a FLIR pod and high definition recording devices used to track enemy activities.
