Hello and welcome to my very first upload. This is also kinda my fifth build but the others dont count (eg. Tutorial plane or my failed attempt at making an f-16). Thanks for at least looking at the description and download it if you want to. This is a recreation of the sadly forgotten supermarine scimitar. The second supersonic jet fighterIt served as a carrier based aircraft for the RAF and was put in use for a short while before other aircraft outperformed it, (I think, don’t kill me in the comments pls)It was also the final aircraft the company supermarine ever made. (Or at least that what it says)Feel free to judge my build, I know it’s not the best.Pls help me with my XML modding I seriously don’t know how to do with it and most of this stuff was just me messing around with it. Credits to all the other big SimplePlanes creators, they helped me a lot with this build.(the XML modding was hard ok?) I spent far too long on this build and I made it ages ago and forgot to publish it so yea.One last thing.This plane is far too manoeuvrable and I gave it inf fuel.It also goes a bit too fast and I didn’t know how to make it to scale.Sorry about thatAnyways here are the controlsCONTROLS:Basically your normal plane controls for the yoke, throttle and rudderTrim: FlapsAG1: Engines (make sure to activate these to use them)AG2: taxiing/pushback mode (use the VTOL slider to control, make sure AG3 is off or wings will look kinda silly)AG3: Folding wings (make sure AG2 is off or plane will slide)AG4: Carrier landing mode (all speed brakes extended and arresting arm extended)AG5: I dunno… does nothing I guess AG6: The hook for the catapult gets lifted up. (Firstly, I dunno what it’s called, secondly there is no video that I could find or any sources that tell me it doesn’t get lifted up into the plane so feel free to tell me)AG7: Speedbrakes (Carrier landing mode minus the speedbrakes)AG8: The gyroscope (I wanted this thing for cruise mode but I don’t know how it works) andddd im running out of space. (I’m surprised this thing got downloads jeez)
