The Ilyushin Il-102 was an experimental jet-powered ground-attack aircraft designed by Ilyushin. In 1967, the Soviet Air Forces drew up a specification for a jet-powered armored ground attack aircraft. While Sukhoi designed an all-new single seat aircraft, the Su-25, Ilyushin proposed a modified version of their Il-40 of 1953 under the designation Il-42, which, unlike the Sukhoi, was a two-seat aircraft with a remotely-controlled rear gun turret. The design was rejected by the Soviet Air Forces, but Ilyushin decided to continue development as a private venture, renaming the program Il-102.

She's armed to the teeth for all of your ground attack needs. She has eight external hard-points and three internal bombays in each wing. Currently, she is outfitted with two external fuel tanks for range (AG1 to drop), six rocket pods (AG2-4 to drop empties) and 6 "1000kg" bombs in the internal compartments (Use TRIM up to open bombays; Air to ground to release bombs), and lastly, two forward firing 30mm cannons for offense and one remote-controlled 23mm machine gun for defense (Pitch/Roll to aim turret).

I put this one together rather quickly today as I only had a small window to build, but it turned out better than I expected. She handles well, has realistic speed and flies very smooth (smoother than the Lightning, for what its worth.)
