It's me, it's me, Zerø here! Konbanmion~! Finally get to publish this livery of the Weeb Eagle, very late though.

Yeah, I just called it the Weeb Eagle.
I put my Oshi in my favorite aircraft ever.
Fantastic.

Introduction:

The Mitsubishi F-15J Eagle is a Japanese licensed-built McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle, an american twin-engined, single-seated air superiority fighter that remains undefeated until today. This particular Eagle is fitted with Japanese avionics, though the difference is not that much visible.

History:

Following the development of the F-15, the Japanese Defence Agency (now Ministry of Defence) looked up to the Eagle as one of the replacement for their aging F-104J and F-4EJs. After some thorough evaluation at Edwards AFB, the F-15C was selected to be Japan's next fighter.

Apart from it's avionics and weaponry, both the F-15J and the F-15C are identically the same, and evidently they're getting a little obsolete. So in an attempt to modernize both aircraft, the USAF and the JASDF received the Multistage Improvement Program in 1987. These improvements included new upgraded avionics and engines.

In 2004, the JASDF chose to further improvise their F-15Js while looking for a replacement. The program was called "The Mid-term Improvement Program". Although the improvement was gradual, it introduced some new avionics, an improved radar, and a couple of other improvements such as a new ejection seat. The program would also introduce the new AAM-4s and AAM-5 air-to-air missiles onto it's loadout.

About Pilot/Livery:

The livery was inspired by the hololive member Ookami Mio, a human-like black wolf, which debuted in 7th of December 2018 as a part of hololive GAMERS.

Personality wise, she's regarded by the community as the more mature, responsible and level-headed compared to her coworkers. This is reflected in the holo no graffiti series, as she would often react to her coworkers shenanigans as if they're an actual normal person. She's also exceptionally kind, even amongst the already nice hololive staffs. She would also often pamper other members like Ayame or Aqua for their introverted personality, which earned her the nickname of "Mio-mama". Despite all that however, Mio is also regarded as one of the biggest scaredy-cats in hololive, being very vulnerable to even minor scares.

Mio is also a talented singer, as expressed by Shirogane Noel's singing coach (who Noel describes as harsh and very hard to impress) who said that she was exceptionally gifted upon hearing her singing voice during the Toyosu PIT live-event. (You can even hear this yourself, please go check her original songs and covers out! They are seriously good.)

  A 6 barreled rotary cannon that can fire 20mm at a rate of 6000 rounds per minute.

• 4x AAM-5B
  A Japanese short-ranged heatseeking missile, equivalent of that to the IRIS-T, including the ability to thrust vector and off-boresight capabilities.

• 4x AAM-4B
  A Japanese BVRAAM, an equivalent to that of the AIM-120C, capable of reaching speeds up to Mach 4 and a range of 120km.

Features:

• A self adjusting intake ramp! Does it effect any flight performances? Probably not. It just looks good.
• Ookami Mio themed livery. See if you can spot some details!
• Realistic ground performance with custom gears! Sure, the veer is still there, but it barely is there.
