The first aircraft built by the fledgeling Daedalus Heavy Engineering corporation, the Ares 1 was meant to be a production test to show the nations of the Archipelago that they had the ability to build and produce a succesful aircraft. The propellor-powered fighter was meant to serve as a 2-man multirole vehicle, boasting a robust armanent of 5 machine guns, 4 aiming forward and one on a rotating platform to allow the Ares to fire on pirsuing enemy planes. The aircraft has multiple weapons hardpoints, including two under the wings that can hold explosives, drones, or whatever other payload is needed. With this success under their belts, DHE hopes to expand production and design and produce more advanced planes for the rapidly militarizing nations of the Archipelago
