This was an attempt to modernize the Junkers Ju-87 Divebomber the Ju-187 featured a rotating vertical tail to give the defensive gunner a complete unobstructed firing arc, though mock-up tests showed that it's performnce wasn't that much differnet then the already in service Ju-87D (activator 1 the VTOL up to make the wheels flush with the wing, activator 2 for the turret)
