The Oeffag Type H was a flying boat fighter built by Austria-Hungary during the First World War. Only one example was ever built. It was delivered to the naval air station at Trieste, where it was flown exclusively by Gottfried von Banfield. Von Banfield was the station's commander, as well as the Austro-Hungarian Navy's highest scoring pilot. The aircraft, serialed A.11, was painted blue under his orders. It would be scrapped in October 1918, after a strafing run against two Italian torpedo boats resulted in a round shattering von Banfield's tibia and destroying the control column.

Few details of the Type H have survived. The dimensions of my reproduction are based on a 3D model I saw. It's a bit finicky to fly, but once you get the hang of it it, it's a fine machine. Likely the reason it was only flown by the Navy's best pilot.
