The Newborn King, the S89SPA ' 'Flanker-SP ' '

Hark, the Herald Angels Sing,

GLORY TO THE NEWBORN KING!

Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the financial troubles of Sukhoi, Suipa Aviations would fall into generally the same rut, with their main partner in production suffering, and the increasing debts they suffered as a result of the A120-E3 project, leading to them nearly declaring bankruptcy if not for the S93's missiles impressing the government enough to bail them out.

Suipa experimented with numerous attempted designs during this time, including one based on the Eurofighter Typhoon, though it did not reach production. Sales of the S89 and its previous variants began to slow, and things seemed to look as if Suipa would be soon forgotten.

HOWEVER, Sukhoi, having managed to fix its own problems, reached out towards Suipa, and asked of them for another collaboration project. Having learned from producing the SU33, Sukhoi generally took the lead in this one's production, with the Fuselage and wings, alongside part of the avionics being produced by them. Control surfaces, missiles, engines and the 3 Axis Thrust Vectoring were handled by Suipa.

Thus, the S89SPA, also known as the SU-33 SPA ' 'Flanker SP ' ', with the SP(A) in both cases being taken from Suipa, was made. Featuring 14 missiles, with 8 of them being the possibly greatest designed in history A120-E3s, the SU-33SPA also boasts impressive maneuverability for its size, alongside another benefit.

Pushed for by Suipa heavily, a 3 Axis Thrust Maneuvering system was added, activated by AG 3. This responds to Pitch, Yaw, and Roll, beating out pretty much every other thrust vectorer on the market.

This is technically the first S96 variant, despite holding the name S89, as the S96 series are differentiated from the S89 by Fire Control System and Missile capabilities. They can also carry bombs and even large Anti-Ship missiles if necessary.

However, there were some problems noted in testing. For one, the S89SPA is a bit off Center of Mass, though this is generally ignorable. Secondly, and slightly more important was the aircraft's tendency to spontaneously combust if it hit too hard a turn at high speeds with a full loadout. This was reduced by the removal of the underbelly pylons, though it is still a concern.

Thirdly was its insanely long takeoff run, though, due to the Thrust Maneuvering and the insane Thrust to Weight ratio, even when carrying full, that was reduced to the point that this is actually classifiable as an STOL.

It also possesses carrier landing abilities, with an Arresting Hook tied to AG 4.

Also, I am REALLY sorry for not uploading these past few six months, I was very, VERY busy. I plan to make another variant of this plane soon to make up for that.
