HISTORY
——————
Around 1968, the U.S. Introduced a new version of an aircraft, the AC-130 Gunship. This new aircraft was very interesting to X Inc. The executives saw this as a new line of aircraft that could give nations the same firepower as the U.S.Within the 1970s, X Inc. Worked on a cargo plane that could also be chosen to be converted into a gunship. In 1974, the X-C-21 was born. The X-C-21 was created for cargo, gunship, and aerial refueling. The gunship remained within the companies catalogue for military aircraft, but yet not one variant was bought. The cargo and aerial refueling variants were bought multiple times. X inc. received an order for a gunship in 1981 for the Argentinian Air Force. Later this gunship was spotted supporting Argentinian ground forces in the Falkland’s war. The gunship was shot down the 17th day of the war. The gunship was credited with 29 confirmed kills, and 4 friendly fire kills.
X Inc. ,although a black market company, received backlash from British government. The gunship was taken off the market in 1987, for the reasoning of being ‘“too expensive and dangerous for uses of conflict”.
Rumors were said that British investors in X Inc. forced the cancellation of the gunship.
