Latest report
Fuselage blocks will always make a shake. The reason is, their collision boxes are cubic. The fuselage blocks are really just blocks……
The main problem is, we had to find which parts have a circular collision box. Then I found more circular parts during traversing all the parts.
After sorting out, I got a list (sorted by smoothness):
Hemisphere(rough)
!!!Rocket
Magnet
Sphere(being rough after rescaling)
!!!Rocket Pod
!!!Blade T2000(probably cause an error)(smooth)
("!!!"means dangerous)
Obviously, Rocket Pod is the highlighted one.
What we have to do is to set their health to a really high value(9e35/9E+35), and set their AG to an error group like AG9 (to disable them).
Results
Use Magnets and Rocket Pods to replace the fuselage. Farewell, "fake wheels"!
But for hollow wheels, these are not enough.

you just saved my build
@GrandPrix OMG Thank you so much!!!!! This one actually works. I tried making custom wheels using fuselage, and it's smoother now! :DD
Go to xml mod on fuselage/hollow fuselage then put a new one in that says collider on the left and ConvexMesh On the right. This makes it so that the actual mesh is the collision box!
(Ik it’s an old build)
@MooncageTheMoonbear
@GentonGengar sounds good to me
@Gameboi14 I found every time I say "at last", there'll always be more discovered after that. Just like that, this time I listed almost all the circular parts. You know what? Have a try on Rocket Pods!
@GentonGengar as always, you have been welcomed
@Gameboi14 Hmmm, no, actually, no. I'm not from the US. But it reminded me, “International friend" might sounds better than "foreigner friend".
In my view, I'm similar with you. We have the same gender(do we?), age, the same hobbies, and are both depressed(and I fear being alone)……Anyhow, I feel reeeally lucky meeting you here, and we communicated without distance limit and nationality limit, just like, everyone are family……then the whole world becomes wonderful.
At last, thank you for testing the custom wheels with me, and, for everything. Thanks.
@GentonGengar Oh, i get it. Aw why thx for the compliment. But i'm foreign to you? You're not from the US i'm supposing
@Gameboi14 I mean, U.
@GentonGengar not sure if you meant platinum, because chemical element 92 is uranium
@Gameboi14 Indeed, I didn't use blueprints. But I didn't know I can do that before……just try, just do it. Whatever you do, as long as you tried your best, it is the best.
(And people always do best on their favorite……To me, they're a lot of people and things, including my first and best foreigner friend……That's, the chemical element No.92)
@GentonGengar You actually do better fuselage art than me, i don't even think you used blueprints to make the rims
@Gameboi14 These are the best wheels I've made so far……
@GentonGengar you have been welcomed
@Gameboi14 I did. The magnets, that's it. They worked well with the suspension system. I'm now using them to make a pickup with custom wheels.
(Thank U Sobble)
@GentonGengar did you tested the concept wheel i made? If so, what do you think?
@Gameboi14 Yeah, both. I just noticed that spheres are actually the most circular ones, instead of magnets. Don't worry, we're very close to it.
@GentonGengar check this out
@GentonGengar then magnet and spheres it is
@Gameboi14 You reminded me, the collision boxes of
Fuselageparts are, just like you said, "cubed". So I got back in the game to find out which parts have circular collision boxes. At last I replaced the fuselage with aMagnet.Maybe you're in your dream now, but I'm really glaaad to tell you, IT WORKS! We made it!
Now the only problem is probably we can't use fuselage blocks to decorate the custom wheels, and it's a little difficult to rescale the wheel and magnet into the same size. Here's a successful data:
Magnetscale 2,1,2power 0activationGroup 9Resizable Wheelscale 1,1,1size 2.1Try it ;)
@Gameboi14 Anyhow, it can't be used in ver1.8, so I'll continue to try other possible ways.
@GentonGengar probably, tho I never messed with funky trees
@Gameboi14 Wait, I wonder if advanced inputs like
GSandTimeare available in ver1.9. If they are, maybe we can calculate GS and PI in some way, get its result as an input, to make custom wheels and resizable wheels rotate synchronously.(Mine is ver1.8, though)@GentonGengar sounds like more work but i bet it is
@Gameboi14 I'm thinking about, is it possible that we make some gear wheels, then use them and the spheres to turn the car wheels?
