KW-72C “Albatross”

The KW-72C “Albatross” is a tandem seat, twin engine, Counter Insurgency (COIN) aircraft. The Albatross gets its name from its low speed and high endurance, with both being vital to preform COIN missions. To help this fuel efficiency, the Albatross features a pair of contra-rotating props, and a low wing. Just like other dedicated COIN aircraft such as the OV-10 Bronco, the IA-58 Pucará, the Su-25 Frogfoot, and the A-10 Thunderbolt II, the Albatross is meant to be used only when air supremacy is certain, since all of these aircraft can struggle to defend themselves when pitted up against any dedicated fighter aircraft, and especially against fourth generation and later. To try and make up for this downside, most COIN aircraft are given the ability to mount Air-To-Air missiles, as is the Albatross. The aircraft has an armored cockpit, powerful missiles, bombs, and rockets, and finally four auto-cannons to engage enemy infantry with 1200 rounds of high explosive ammunition.

Weapons-
32 - Dumb Fire Rockets
Two - BU-750 750lb Dumb Bomb
Four - AGM-65D Maverick Air-to-Ground Missiles
Four - Fast Firing Auto-cannons with 300 rounds per gun
Four - Air-to-Air Missiles, originally MANPADS

Side Notes-
Simple controls, and nothing really out of the ordinary, just a COIN aircraft so I can have one. Only odd feature is a burn timer on the rockets, so they start to fall after firing but unfortunately the smoke plum is still being made after the fuel is “burned”.
