Poacher

The Poacher is an Eastern European attack aircraft and heavy fighter, made by the Volgograd Patriarchate. The Poacher's purpose is two-fold: On one side, the Patriarchate has the Moscovian Soviet Republic right next to them and, on the other, they are close enough to be afflicted by raids from the Free Region of Ukraine and smaller polities. The Poacher represents a counter to both problems, being adept at both slaying tanks with rockets and presenting a persistent threat against the Free Region's light vehicles.

The Volgograd Patriarchate is a theocratic State aligned with the Blessed Germanic Empire that grew from the growing prominence of the Church in relief and charity efforts in the immediate post-Crumbling era. In relation with the other major regional powers, the Patriarchate is most notable for it's infantry.

The Poacher itself was made with aid from the Empire, resembling earlier types from that country. It's armament is nasty: 12 7.62 mm machine guns, a heavy 23 mm autocannon, and two hardpoints that can be used for rocket pods and bombs. Moreover, Poachers are equipped with a tail turret with 2 12.7 mm machine guns that is notably made to be capable of firing in a full 360 degree radius in the horizontal plane without hitting the aircraft's structure.

In actual service however, the Poacher is generally used more as a reconaissance platform, owing to it's endurance and greater resilience.
