@XAircraftManufacturer A next bot is an NPC that has a previously determined path to chase the player in. The reason is with normal NPC they make the path as they go on and often get stuck while a next bot knows the map. At least that what I think it is.

@RishantYT747fan @XAircraftManufacturer not really, Nextbot are also not always 2d shaped entity that can chase and kill you. In GMod there is still another Nextbot which is aren't 2D which is it was called as "SNpc"
