1899 Pilcher Triplane

!IMPORTANT!

In order to fly this areoplane from the ground you must first make a location on grass, a suitable location is the bowl.

Do not do anything untill the plane reaches 50-60mph or untill the tail lifts, otherwise you will not take off.

Do not stop pitching up. Or you will go straight down and crash and burn.

Use yaw as your main source of turning controll, use roll to keep the plane more or less stable, if you roll this plane more than 25° there is a slight danger of you losing altitude and if your max altitude is around 500ft then that is bad!

History:
Percy Pilcher was an English glider pioneer who flew regularly in his Bat and his Hawk gliders, Unknown to most he was using money that his demonstrations produced to fund his project of the first powered areoplane, unfortunately Pilcher was killed in a demonstration of his hawk when it stalled. if he was not killed, he would have had enough money for the engine of his aeroplane. And it has been proven that this aeroplane could have flown with a 5hp chainsaw engine when a team of engineers built a 1:1 replica with (mostly) original materials.
It flew at cranfeild and reached an altitude of over 50 feet for almost an entire minute.

If Percy Pilcher had not been killed this would be the 'first manned powered aeroplane to fly' the Wright bros still would have gotten controlled flight, as pilchers plane used hang glider weight shift controls simply because A: it saves weight B: It saves money and C: he was used to the controll system.

I've done my best to reconstruct this very primitive aircraft and I'm proud to say that other than engine details driveshaft and wheel attachment points this is 100% structural wing.

One foot - one cm on my blueprint and I made this to one cm - one block

I really didn't expect it to fly, and I didn't even build this to upload it, it really is an experiment to see if it would fly in this game and yes, it does It holds the record for being the only one of my Edwardian planes that I have built to not crash on its maiden flight!

ENJOY!

If you are one of my followers you should allready have locations in the bowl, I'm just suggesting some things I don't want you to crash it! @AudioDud3
