A late-war variant of the F9F-1 Lioncat. This aircraft saw action during the very late stages of the Second Continental war, and it was operated by the Eltris Republic and United Carolina. Still retaining its armament of six .50 Caliber machine guns, and with an addition of a better engine and radio communication, it was a valuable naval heavy fighter of the time. Even with its formidable aspects, it was still a prop fighter competing against early jets, which were better in more ways than one. This pushed the F9F-5 from an air superiority role, into a multi-role ground attacker aircraft.
