Based off of the X-48 phantom works test aircraft, this is what a real-world application could look like. The BWB design could save at least 20% of fuel and emissions as well as increase pax capacity. The aerodynamic efficiency of the blended wing body could also be a platform for sustainable propultion such as electric power or H2 power. This one has jets because simpleplanes doesn’t have electric or h2 engines (yet). However it’s got many lights and other gadgets and it flies OK so have some fun with this big aluminum pancake! Making improvements on my design is strongly encouraged as well.
