Continuing the No Man’s Sky vibe, I humbly present the Bradley-Davies Hunter F2A Air/Space Superiority Fighter. I have purposely limited fuel capacity to reward pilots with all the warnings that illuminate in the cockpit when you are short of (or out of) the necessary motion lotion, too low on approach without Aux Stab and/or Landing Gear not down.

MULTI-ROLE AIR/SPACE SUPERIORITY CRAFT.

Powered by a Rolls-Royce Plasma Acceleration Thrust Tunnel, the Hunter F2A is capable of sustained high speed flight in or out of atmosphere. Well-armed and manoeuvrable, the craft incorporates state of the art avionics to facilitate pilot operations and reduce workload.

CONTROLS AND INDICATIONS

VTOL: (ALWAYS ACTIVE). Controls Lift Engine power for Take-Off, Landing and Low-Speed manoeuvring.
NOTE: Lift Engines may remain operational during wing-borne flight, but fuel flow and consumption is increased;

AG1: MASTER SYSTEM CONTROL GROUP. Activation results in:
Thrust Tunnel start sequence initiated;
Thrust Tunnel Intake power up;
PORT and STBD external Plasma Conduit Acceleration Pumps powered on.
Cockpit displays active.
Based on the legendary LCARS format, flight and systems information is clearly presented on the multiple screens located in the cockpit.

AG2: Reheat Engage. Cockpit Warning Indicators illuminated;

AG3: Opens and closes Pulse Cannon charge bay for ammunition resupply (or use button alongside hatch);

AG4: Opens and closes Cockpit Canopy;

AG5: Opens and closes Thrust Tunnel Access Bay (or use button above rear bay door) for inspection;

AG8: Stability Augmentation (AUX STAB). The VTOL control allows operation from unprepared terrain, seaborne carriers and airstrips, utilising the Stability Augmentation system to ensure safe operation during take-off and landing or low speed in-flight manoeuvring.
Using AUX STAB during wing-borne flight is authorised but inhibits manoeuvrability as the aircraft tends to prioritise return to a level attitude.

WHEN TRANSITIONING FROM HIGH SPEED/HIGH-ENERGY FLIGHT WITH AUX STAB OFF DO NOT RE-ENGAGE AUX STAB WITH AIRSPEED BELOW 180 KIAS – UNCONTROLLED OSCILLATION MAY OCCUR!
