The HC-6 Rapide, is a single-aisle, twin engine monoplane airliner with metal wings and a capacity capable up to 9 passengers and also convertable to mailplane and logistics. Such capacity meant that it was originally intended for use as a short-range civil airliner and touring aircraft, also capable to be adapted for other roles if needed, such as agricultural work or light cargo transport, or even military reconnaissance.
