The New York Police Department had been a long time customer for Chevrolet’s van models. From the G-Series, to the Astro, they had it all. Due to this un-official “partnership,” when Chevrolet revealed the Express, the NYPD sure enough flocked to add it to multiple divisions across the department. The vans were favored among the department, due to their reliability, capacity, and decent enough speed to respond to calls somewhat on time. Most of these vans are still standing today, and there seems to be no sign that they will be retired anytime soon.

The Chevrolet Express is a multi-use van utilized by the New York Police Department.

Credit to Bullozeee for the original model.
