The Mitsubishi A6M "Zero" is a carrier fighter aircraft that was designed and produced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. It was known for being very maneuverable, fast, and having a long range.
The Zero was superior to Allied fighters in the early war, but as time went on, newer Allied fighters were introduced, and they eventually outmatched the Zero. It became obsolete in 1943, with the Hellcat and Corsair outmatching it.
Despite being outdated, the Zero continued flying, often in kamikaze attacks due to desperation and dwindling resources.
But the Zero was an iconic and feared aircraft during its time.
