the beaver was an offshoot of the guh mk1 program, it was thought up in 1949 just before the guh program was cancelled, it was a cheaper alternative to the guh it finally entered service in 1952 and would continue in service till 1955 when it was replaced by more capable planes. it lived on as a trainer for the angolian airforce and as a light attacker in many smaller nations.
