Background

The AN/TWQ-1A "Laika" is a heavy Close-Medium Range Weapons System (CMRWS) to defend Federation forces from air attack. Armed with 20x Hermes-K, 35km Ranged multipurpose, modularly-designed guided missiles (Semi-Active Laser Homing, IR Homing, Radar Homing with 1000mm of penetration with HEAP warheads equipped), and 2x 30mm 5 Barrel Rotary Cannons firing Armor-piercing tungsten penetrator rounds with discarding sabots or High-Explosive Incendiary Tracer. One system is capable of tracking 50 targets at once while plotting interception. Able to prioritize and engage targets in groups of 20. The missiles can be reloaded with 20 more within the vehicle.
