TYPE 3 HOVERJET

Backstory

The “Type 3 Hoverjet” as it’s called by government officials in hushed meetings in storms capital, is a top secret government project that’s still classified. But, some information has been leaked, so here’s what we know. Based on its name, we can only assume it’s a VTOL aircraft that may have stealth features. From blurry photos and videos taken by civilians, we can confirm that it has stealth features, as the only explanation for its paint being black is that it’s radar absorbing. One interesting other detail we’ve noticed is that it appears to have external weapons, instead of a weapons bay, as typical for stealth aircraft. One theory is that it carries some sort of stealth cruise missile, and that they are simply too big to fit in an internal weapons bay. This makes sense, as these missiles are huge, and may even be nuclear! This has storm’s enemies concerned, especially Kamchatka, who fears It’s new Ka-34 “Furai”s may be outclassed by this new adversary. It is also thought to be controlled by AI, not even needing a pilot! Little is known about this new plane, being 5th 6th or who knows, maybe even 7th gen aircraft will certainly be a serious threat to any enemies who dare oppose storm’s military.

OWNERS MANUAL VERY IMPORTANT!!!

This plane, of course, is a vtol jet, meaning it can take off and land like a helicopter. Increase the throttle to take off, I think around 80 percent is hover but idk. To transition to forward flight slide the VTOL slider up all the way, and you’ll be flying like a normal plane. Slide it all the way down, and you’ll be slowing down really fast, as the nozzles are the facing forwards. Right in the center is normal hover.
This plane was designed to be a hovering plane, so there are a few weird things about it. First off, it has no control surfaces. Yep, that’s right. Instead, i’m experimenting with gyroscopes, and have found that if used in a specific way, can replace control surfaces, and those ugly VTOL rcns. The only downside to this though, is that this plane-even in forward flight, is basically incapable of doing barrel rolls, so just keep that in mind. Since there are gyroscopes, if you lose control, just let the gyro do the work for you.
Also, this is my first plane with custom missiles! They have a lock range of I think 100 km, and are very maneuverable and effective against ground targets. They have a 360 lock range, so you don’t even have to be pointed at your target to fire! One is enough to destroy the Beast! And it carries 4. Also has 2 powerful cannons. Unfortunately, as I’ve tested multiple times, this plane is not accustomed to dogfights, and therefore has no defence against enemy planes except for of course unlimited flares!
