1942 Welmade Series 1200

Simply Built Stronger.

Shortly after releasing the D-100, the head of Welmade realized something. They could go bigger. They could go tougher. They could go more capable. They could go to the utility extremes, and build a real truck for the farmers, the haulers and the workers. Thus, the Series 1200 line was born. Ever since, the Series 1200 has seen action in almost every business, from basic transportation, to towing and plowing.

The truck attached to this post is kitted out with a hydraulic dump bed, which was fairly new tech for the time. However, Welmade's truck balance was so well done, it was safer than the majority of other trucks like it on the market (many were prone to tipping over, due in part to weight and already top-heavy trucks).

The Tow Truck variant was more commonly seen in small towns and rural back roads than out in the big cities. It traded out steering angle and maneuverability for capability. However, that doesn't mean it wasn't good for the job. It meant that it did better to get cars and trucks that went off the road and into mud a couple hundred yards down the way.

It was equipped with 4WD, a weighted bumper, and a special bed to help complete the job well.

Lastly on our list, is the Stake Bed build. Custom ordered by a farmer who wanted to surprise his loving wife, this truck is coloured with a deep, Metallic Indigo paint. As well, extra chrome was added to the truck, mostly on the with the bumper and rims. Trucks like this were also used in the military for the war, with an added canopy and the stock, heavy duty bumpers and rims. This truck is the most basic design, as there are no mechanics to the bed.

As a last second bonus addition, I've also prepared a fire truck to go with the package deal!

Purchased by the Wright Fire Dept. late in the year, this truck has been kitted out with faster speeds, 4wd, and all the bells, lights and whistles. Sporting that familiar red, the 1200 looks striking as it roars down the street, leaving a wake of shock, awe and worried citizens.

@Gabztar there's a setting you have to tinker with in the wheels. You need the overload mod to get to it. You gotta open the menu, open the Resizablewheel tab, then look for maxAngularVelocity. It should be set around 300 normally. Hope that helps!
