Requires 'Final Approach' starting location

The Chance Vought F4U Corsair was an American fighter aircraft that saw service primarily in World War II and the Korean War. It was designed as a carrier-based aircraft. However its difficult carrier landing performance rendered the Corsair unsuitable for Navy use until the carrier landing issues were overcome. The Corsair thus came to and retained prominence in its area of greatest deployment: land based use by the U.S. Marines.

After the carrier landing issues had been tackled it quickly became the most capable carrier-based fighter-bomber of World War II. Despite this, the Corsair had a limited involvement in the U.S. Navy due in part to the Grumman F6F Hellcat’s great performance as a carrier-based aircraft. However, some Japanese pilots regarded it as the most formidable American fighter of World War II, and the U.S. Navy counted an 11:1 kill ratio with the F4U Corsair.

I got a little lazy here and just converted my A6M2 Zero build into a F4U Corsair. I had a couple of requests to make a Corsair, and I wanted to make a rival craft for my Zero that can match its speed and performance.

Unfortunately, I couldn't implement landing gear on this plane without totally ruining the beauty of it. So, like my Zero, be sure to set the starting location to one of the final approaches so that you are already in the air!

Enjoy the β€˜Whispering Death’, and keep an eye out for something really special coming soon!

@Allstarship I'll leave the F-22 to you, for now... Lol. But I'll tell you this, it's another crowd-favorite airplane. I'll probably upload when I'm near 5k as a celebration.

@DragonCreations its really hard to try to guess what's going on with little info. The wings break off for me only if I spawn on the runway. You did set the start location so that you spawn in the air? When the wings break, pause and hit the restart button. Does that fix it?
