since the postpone of the Boeing F-47NGAD project in 2027 and f/a-18 hornets retiring at a faster pace than expected, the USAF signed project with Lockheed Martin to design and produce a 5.5GEN naval carrier based stealth fighter. making its maiden flight in feb2030 and going in service in may2035 the F-38Achilles is a single seat, single engine, all weather stealth fighter and attacker.theF-38A is a airforce
edition while the F38B is a naval one.
