I-A-11 Nurtanio II (SeaHog) was an Indonesian naval attack aircraft developed by Sriwidjaja Aeronautics in collaboration with PT Dirgantara Indonesia. Conceived as a maritime strike and close air support platform, it was frequently characterized as the naval counterpart to the A-10, prioritizing robustness, heavy firepower, and battlefield survivability. The aircraft achieved operational success and was notably evaluated and operated in limited capacity by the United States Navy. While generally well regarded, it exhibited minor handling deficiencies, including a documented tendency to yaw to the right during takeoff. Despite these shortcomings, the SeaHog is widely regarded as a landmark aircraft and a significant symbol of Indonesia’s aerospace industry.
