XP-21 Comet

566 Knight  8.4 years ago

This aircraft was built from "Kelly" Johnson's six designs for the 1937 Army Fighter Competition, Which in the end the fourth design out of the six was picked and became the XP-38 we know now. The other designs were scrapped and never saw the light of day though the fifth design may have inspired the creation of the XP-82 Twin Mustang aircraft which was the last American piston-engine fighter though never actually saw combat in WW2 'cause the war ended well before it had a chance to. I hope you enjoy my XP-21 Comet! Please upvote, comment, maybe also check out my other planes I've built?
