V-223 kingfisher: VTOL / STOL Aircraft
For simple take-off:
Just throttle and take off like ordinary planes. No changes. And so the landing too.
For VTOL Take off and landing:
Throttle to 100% and VTOL sliders to up. The props will act like a helicopter. Use the trim and horizontal stabilizers as necessary. Then, Move VTOLs back to normal for forward flight. For landing, VTOL up and throttle about 40-50%.
For STOL Take off and landing:
Throttle 100%, and VTOL about halfway up, the plane will run and take off using a very short runway. Then, put the VTOL to normal for forward flight.
Design:
Designed by Win'sWings Aerospace for the STOL/VTOL aircraft category, aiming for close support and evacuation missions and carrier operations. Powered by 3 WollWoyce T-123 turboprop engines - (658 house power each) with five-bladed variable pitch propellers. Top speed 350 mph.
