yes that image was taken during the original SP2 playtest if you are wondering.
the EB-53H is a electronic warfare variant of the B-53H. the aircraft has been nearly stripped down to its basic complements and a ton of eletronics have been stuffed inside. the thing that extends out of the plane when AG1 is pressed, that is a big mass of electronics that can disable eletronics (fire guns), bring down planes (fire guns), and hack electronics (fire guns). also if you are daring enough you can ram people I guess.
lore?
nah I kinda just wanted to make this. but sure I guess, let me Jerry rig something.
in 2024 the army wanted a new electronic warfare aircraft after nearly all were lost in transit to Azer thanks to a carrier being sunk. so they modified 20 B-53Hs into EB-53s. the aircraft did their thing untill 2025 when they were sent to North American Avation (NAA) to be overhauled and repaired. unfortunately due to reasons still sorta unknown a mass panic event took place against clankers- I mean robots (yes, protogens ended up being targets). 17 of the aircraft vanished during the event (an airframe got shot down by a spitire in June of 2025. that spitfire was later rammed out of the sky by a EB-53H and that aircraft is undergoing a total rebuild) and we still don't know where they are. there is a good chance that they are still flying or wrecked in a field somewhere in the great plains. idk.

If you are wondering what happened to the original aircraft, I took it down as a user complained about the aircrafts Controversial history on the site. Apparently according to him “I guilt tripped people into fixing the plane”. What in reality happened I was just done with the plane and posted it as it was. People THEN fixed it for some fuckin reason. I was truly done with attempting to fix the EB-53H at the time and then when the original SP2 playtesting came out I became re-interested in the plane and used a fixed version to finish the plane and post it.
ATP I don’t really care about their opinion anymore
