The Farfadet is a SFR medium bomber that was the leading contestant for the medium bomber tender until it was merged with one for a heavy attack aircraft, which caused the Karnabo to win instead. Nevertheless, the runner-up's speed picked up the interest of the military committee, which ordered it in small numbers as a photo-reconnaisance aircraft.
This aircraft represents a slightly later version that mated the airframe with more powerful radial engines. This renewed interest in the type as a bomber since it no longer added pressure on the inlines' production. Since then, it's become a growing proportion of the SFR medium bomber force thanks to it's greater speed.
