A.58 Progress so Far

3,763 fleia262  2.2 years ago

Wings and primary gear rebuilt, and I put together my first functional cockpit, not finished, it's crude and nothing special but it is my first time. Reverse thrust is still just aesthetics, and none of the other aesthetics are even started either. She can make it into the air and stay there for a bit, but the ailerons and rudder don't work yet and has almost no fuel so it'll be a short flight, definitely not air-worthy yet. Lot's more work to go.
ag1 for engines and hazards
ag2 for nav lights
ag3 for taxi lights
ag4 for slats control (VTOL up)
ag5 for flaps control (VTOL down)
ag6 for airbrakes
ag7 for reverse thrust (aesthetics only)

@teddyone02 haha she does look a bit bare and pencilly here doesn't she XD, and thank you kindly for taking time to visit and comment! Keep an eye out for the finished product, trying to giver her actual windows and even cabin seating (a first for me).

@fleia262 Yeah, I'm glad you were able to achieve a feat such as that. An on a size note, I'm really looking forward to seeing the next plane, and, it's likely gonna be massive since it is likely gonna be a 4 decker like you said. ;)

@Boeing777x it really is, I was nervous to even attempt a cockpit, but getting her in the air from the cockpit using only the switches and levers was a special feeling. I expect my next plane, once I complete this one, (likely a 4 decker) to go smoother.
