MRF Python 3 (Remake)

The MRF Python 3 is a multirole fighter and the successor of the MRF Python 2, developed by the Terran Aeronautics Company in 3107, it is also the longest-serving fighter jet in the Terran Armed Forces.

After the death of the Septan Queen in 3102, the elaborate spy networks and deep space strike groups set by the Queen began to collapse under the inferior leadership and organization of the Septan Generals allowing the Terran Republic to slowly but surely recover from the damage caused by the sabotage and harassment the strike groups and spies perpetrated.

With the speedy recovery of super factories Epsilon A and B, as well as the acquisition of talented engineers and inventors from Prime Earth and the Martian Empire, Terra began the development of new technologies and equipment to bolster the war effort in their favor. From this boost in productivity, the Python 3 was born.

Unlike the Python 1 and 2, the Python 3 was built from the ground up with its very own custom airframe which allowed it to implement more advanced targeting systems and electronics compared to the Python 2, and unlike the Python 1, the Python 3's computer systems utilized more compact components, allowing it to save much more space compared to its predecessor, the Python 3 also removed the twin-engine design and implemented an upgraded single hydrogen-powered engine.

Something that made the Python 3 unique among its brethren was its smaller size, this was an intentional decision made by the engineers who drew up the Python 3's blueprints, with the war still ongoing, the designers wanted to make sure Terran space ships could move the fighter planes in bulk to the front lines to more quickly replace the older Python 1 and 2 designs already in service, its size also had the unintended consequence of making it harder to hit with ballistic weapons.

The Python 3 performed impressively, its maneuverability improved drastically over its predecessors and its ability to engage in both air and ground combat was not hindered by the additional weight of its weaponry, the durable frame of the main body allowed for the addition of a 30mm autocannon right next to its 20mm minigun. Its improved targeting systems allowed the pilot to target enemy bogeys with ease.

The Python 3 would continue to serve throughout the 2nd Septerran War until the very end of the war in 3112 which resulted in a Terran victory against the Septan empire, the Python 3 would even serve beyond the conclusion of the 2nd Septerran War throughout the "Era of Peace" in the Loose Chain through more modern variants of the design, it would be retired from service in 3858 as the Terran Armed forces were looking for a more advanced alternative using modern technologies.

A remake of my old Python 3 fighter from yours truly! Controls are self-explanatory if you've ever flown one of my other fighter jets, have fun flying!
