The Gulfstream I (company designation G-159) is a twin-turboprop business aircraft. It first flew on August 14, 1958. The aircraft has similar design characteristics to the Hawker Siddeley HS 748, especially the Rolls-Royce Dart powerplant.

Phoenix Air Group, often just referred to as Phoenix Air, is a non-scheduled airline headquartered in Cartersville, Georgia, USA, with the city's airport serving as its base. Founded in 1978 by Army helicopter pilot and race car driver Mark Thompson, Phoenix Air operates worldwide charter flights (passenger and cargo; catering for corporate, military or air ambulance demands).

The BQM-74 Chukar is a series of aerial target drones produced by Northrop Grumman. The Chukar has gone through three major revisions, including the initial MQM-74A Chukar I, the MQM-74C Chukar II, and the BQM-74C Chukar III. They are recoverable, remote controlled, subsonic aerial target, capable of speeds up to Mach 0.86 and altitudes from 30 to 40,000 ft (10 to 12,000 m).

This specific Gulfstream I has the Phoenix Air livery and two BQM-74 Chukars as its "armament".

Directions for startup:
1. Throttle 100%
2. When the Dart turbines sound good, start the props.
