The RA-01 C Madcomet is a fifth generation omnirole fighter jet, which means that is can accomplish different kind of mission at once. For this reason, it has to be able to carry a lot of different weapons type : air-air missiles, air-ground missiles, guided bombs, free fall bombs, nuclear missiles, ...

It can operate from an aircraft carrier, despite it's inverted wings.

These wings are massives, and are reinforced to be able to not break to the tension. However, they also were a major problem at the beginning : the take-off and landing speeds requiered to land safely were way too high (above 600kph). It was also making impossible to take-off or land on any aircraft carrier, at least not with any payload.
By adding these small canard wings, the speeds for take-off and landing were reduce by almost 33% (around 400kph).

This aircraft can reach mach 2.5 at high altitudes, and will hardly reach mach 1.5 at lower altitude, even with the afterburners.
It might also show trouble during a dogfight, as it's turn rate is not the best. However, it is an aircraft made to last, and it is capable of taking a lot of damages and still make it back to base safely. But be careful ! If you get into a flatspin, the only way to save the aircraft will be to shut off the throttle, point it's nose at the ground, and push throttle to 12/15%. Then, you can possibly make it.

It's maximum take-off weight is about 24 tons.

Here is the (fictionnal) take-off procedure :
APU to on
BAT (batterie) switch up
Crank left and right engine
Turn on IFF, Radio, RWR, Audio and Mic
When the green lights next to engine engine crank stop blinking, turn off APU
Turn on Radar (square button on the left of the HUD)

I tried making a functionnal HUD, but my knowledge of Funky Trees is very limited... So i found other solutions, but the HUD is functionnal and gives you a lot of informations. Don't hesitate to ask me if you don't understand all of it !
