Combat loadout

It's a bit of a v1.1 update to the original but I added missiles for the fun of it anyways.

Changes

Ill start off with what changed on this update:

  1. CoM and CoL adjustments for the FT to have more Pitch authority to do what it needs to do.
  2. Changed engine setup, took a while to notice but my builds have terrible thrust at high altitude primarily because I was using 2 engines for different phases e.g No Afterburner and Afterburner, I then just FT'd thrust curves on one engine which turned out pretty good
  3. Missiles XD, pretty part effecient if I say so myself its just that there are quite a few of em, you got 4 SARH and 4 IR missiles.
  4. Added Jettison button to the cockpit, Activate 1 Jettison all A-A missiles, Activate 5 Jettison drop tanks. important: leave Activate 5 on after dropping tanks as it acts as a limiter when off

AIM-7M

AIM-7M sparrow, SARH guided in this case fire but dont forget XD.

Max speed: 1370 m/s
Max range: 30000 m
Gimbal rad: 60°

Performs better with higher speeds, i wouldn't trust a lock

AIM-9M

The sidewinder, IR guided in this case just fire and forget missile

Max speed: 860 m/s
Max range: 5000 m
Gimbal rad: 45°

Decent manueverability, just dont expect too much.

    @buIIiestuff Yeah yeah that tends to happen its a PID issue which im using on the pitch control, in SP1 the speed at which it wobbles changes with physics settings, happens at higher speed on High physics not sure about SP2 though.

    idk if u know the horizontal stabilisers wobble when IAS is greater than around 720 knots. same on the f16 but that one wobbles at ~800-900 knots IAS
    edit: actually it might be an sp2 thing cuz I was flying in sp2

    @buIIiestuff yeah I actually realized this after watching a few cockpit demos will be implemented from now on, and gun reticle is normally higher up to reduce the lead needed to get guns on.
    (Well the gun itself is also tilted upwards except for the Jeff)

    dude ur like one of the 3 only ppl I've seen that gets how the pilot is not looking straight forward but a bit downwards, and that the gun reticle isn't at center of hud
