Hi

First I want to say thank you so much for so many positives feedback to my latest creation the Instant Cobra Maneuver(https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/0lTn95/Instant-Cobra-Manuver).
That make me so happy I stop sniffing jet fuel for several days :P

And make me wondering....

What can I do to that one particular aircraft that gave me so much knowledge about funky-tree.

.
GIVE IT AN INSTANT COBRA MANEUVER UPGRADE OF COURSE!!!!!!!

@Pietro This is my tribute to you and your F/A 52 ARES. Good work and thank you.

Features:
-3D thrust vectoring (Actually it's 2D but achieve yaw control by using differential thrust)
-post-stall maneuvers and super-maneuverability.
-carrier operational
-upgraded fly-by-funky-tree system
-higher pilot seat for better cockpit view visibility
-instant cobra maneuver!!!!!
-more flares dispensers!!!!!
-new paint job!!!!!

Controls:
-AG1: activate super-maneuverability
-AG2: automatic flaps adjustment
-AG3: automatic air-brakes adjustment
-AG4: instant cobra maneuver!!!!!
-AG5: emergency parachute
-AG6: tail hook
-AG7: toggle on formation lights (off by default)
-AG8: toggle navigation lights (on by default)
-VTOL: flaps and slats (manual mode)
-trim to trim

Let's me explain a bit.
This work best if you gain some speed first (ideally above 600km/h).
When AG4 is activated the plane will slow down first, when IAS is around 500km/h it will pull a Cobra!!!
While the plane is slowing down please keep it fly level and all will be good.
Deactivate AG4 will disengage the Cobra.

If you lose control just let go of the control and let fly-by-funky-tree system regain control for you.

Yaw control is somewhat limited because I don't want to alter the airframe in any ways, so 2D thrust vectoring stay the same.

And yes, you can do all sort of maneuvers yourself with a little bit of practice.

ENJOY!!!

    @Pietro
Thank you very much, I'm so happy you enjoy my upgrade!!!
As I mentioned before, the ARES is the one that open a whole new way for me to play the game and it inspire me to do this ;D

This Instant Cobra took me about three weeks to complete, quite a long time isn't it.(20%proof of concept,10%implementation,70%bug fixing and fine tuning)
Being a computer nerd myself do help about the coding part though :P

I'll be waiting for a new ARES, keep up the good work!!!

wow, I don't think there are exact words to describe my expression when I activated AG4. You have my most sincere congratulations, how long did it take you to elaborate those formulas? I'm amazed that it's possible to do such things on simpleplanes. However I was developing a second version of ARES, paradoxically it is very similar to what you did, both for the colors and for the 3D thrust vectoring! congratulations again for the excellent work!!!
