Lore (Not real life project):

After the B-58 Hustler came into production, the Air Force wanted a successor to the plane. A bomber that could fly at least 3 times the speed of sound, and could carry a nuclear bomb. The North American came with a design that would be the XB-70 Valkyrie. Convair wanted to try again and proposed a design carried over from their B-58. It was called the XB-72 'Skybreaker'. It was to be twice larger than the B-58, and can fly well over Mach 4, even Mach 5. To achieve that speed, the bomber has 4 turbo-ramjet engine which was a modification of the J58 used by the infamous A-12 Oxcart and SR-71 Blackbird. But it also has one huge engine installed in the fuselage, in a configuration much like the F-104 with the intakes. The engine was about 5 times more powerful than the J58, but it would consume 3 times the fuel. It was intriguing to have a bomber able to pass the Mach 5 barrier, but it's fuel efficiency is questionable. The large engine drink fuel like there's no tomorrow. Thus, it's range was not as far as they would like it to be. 1 prototype was made in secrecy, and was tested. But later crashed in the Nevada desert area. The remains were quickly cleaned and scrapped. The Convair's design failed to succeed over the XB-70.

Controls:
- Throttle, pitch, yaw, trim, and roll are normal.
- AG 1 + VTOL up for main engine afterburner.
- AG 7 to deploy chute.

Issues:
- Landing gear wobbles a lot.
- Turning in high speed results in the plane spinning out of control.
- There is no bomb on the plane for a good reason.
- Be careful when landing. Too fast will result in the gears exploding when you engage the brakes. Too slow will slam the gears on the runway and destroy them.
