The Kalos Defense KY-12 “Kaery” Is a maneuverable dogfighter built in 1953 and produced from 1955-1960. It has a powerful engine and an armament of 1 AG-09 .50 Cannon and 2 20mm Cannons, as well as 2 hardpoints with the default loadout being 2 Rb-24 (AIM-9B) SRAAMs. It was developed as an advanced fighter for the United States of Kernadec, and was inducted as the F-83 Starstreak. It was also put into service with the Federal Republic of Adersburg and a few other minor OFS (Organization of Free States) nations. Due to the maneuverability of the aircraft rivaling more modern fighters, the USK has turned their fleet into advanced trainers, and some minor nations flying them well into the 1980s.
