The Vacula Design Bureau (VDB) was requested to build a VTOL fighter for the FAAF (Falagine Air Force). After 8 years of development, the VAC-444M came to service in 1976. Derived from the Harrier, this aircraft was considered valuable to the FAAF. However, it was worn out by the VAC-320S and was rarely used then. However, the FAAF still uses this aircraft, and
development is still in progress.
