Malaysia Airlines Fokker 50 brief history
Malaysia Airlines first started to operate the Fokker 50 back in 1989 to replace their aging Fokker f27. Malaysia Airlines operated the Fokker 50 for short haul-regional flight to connect smaller airports in Borneo (east Malaysia) to a larger airport. Malaysia airlines operated the Fokker 50 with APU and was the first one to do so. The airline retired the aircraft in 2007, and gave them out to the airline's subsidiaries (MASwings and Firefly) before they retired the aircraft in 2011 aswell and replace them with ATR-72
Malaysia Airlines Flight 2133
