T-1A Light Tank

The T-1A Light Tank is Invaria’s first true modern armored fighting vehicle, developed in 1933 to replace the outdated Bierwglunk I, which had been relegated to museum display.
It represents a complete shift in Invarian armored doctrine toward speed, agility, and aggressive maneuver warfare.

Designed to be fast, nimble, and lethal, the T-1A is capable of operating in multiple battlefield roles. It excels as an infantry support vehicle, providing direct fire against enemy positions, while also performing scouting and reconnaissance thanks to its high mobility and compact profile.

Its main weapon, the IK-40-33 40 mm Invaria Cannon, gives the T-1A enough firepower to destroy light armor, field fortifications, and infantry formations using APHE and HE ammunition. The gun’s wide elevation and deep depression allow the tank to fight effectively from slopes, ridgelines, and hull-down positions.

Powered by a twin-engine 300 hp powerpack, the T-1A reaches speeds of up to 60 km/h, enabling rapid flanking, quick repositioning, and hit-and-run attacks. This makes it especially effective in fluid battlefield environments where heavier tanks struggle to keep up.

In service, the T-1A serves as the eyes, claws, and shield of Invaria’s armored forces, combining reconnaissance, fire support, and rapid assault into a single highly adaptable platform.
