In 1995, Nismo decided to enter the 24 Hours Of Le Mans, however, the rules stated that at least one road-going version of the car used in the competition must be produced. And thus, the Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R LM was born. This special homologation variant of the R33 features the same RB26DETT engine found in the normal variant, the interior too was left almost the same. For the body however, it was a different story; the fenders were widened by 50mm, and vents in the bumper and hood were installed for the removal of hot air in the engine. Only one GT-R LM was ever built, making it the rarest Skyline ever.
