The KW-65D-2 “Frogmouth” is a supersonic single engine light fighter with a variable geometry wing and is equipped with a pair of FOX-1 missiles and a pair of FOX-3 missiles, with the former having a range of only 2.5 miles but being perfect for a close in dogfight and the latter having a range of 25 miles but with less maneuverability that the heat seekers, but is nonetheless still excellent in BVR engagements. With new technology, NJB was able to design an aircraft with most aspects automated, notably the flaps and variable geometry wing systems. But with this new technology, NJB has still decided to fit the aircraft with the same six barreled rotary cannon as in most other designs, and has chosen to add flares that are large enough to be picked up on radar, as to get rid of the need for chaff. With the new design, the aircraft is very hard to control at high AoA and is very unstable when landing, but was given a drogue chute to help reduce the risk of an accident.

Controls —
VTOL up - Increase wing sweep
VTOL down - Flaps (only landing flaps available)
AG 1 - Master arm
AG 7 - Drogue chute
Engine control - throttle > %89 activated afterburner

Side note - the Frogmouth is very hard to control, and I recommend gentle movements and to avoid rolling at high AoA and at low speeds when turning, as this will result in the roll becoming reversed and the temporary loss of control. Also, to reduce weight airbrakes were not fitted, but pushing hard forward then pulling hard back on the stick will cause you to “cobra” and can help slowing yourself down, but don’t try to do this while rolled to either side, inverted, or below 400mph ias.
