This aircraft is a derivative of the aircraft previously made by PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI/Nurtanio), namely the N-208, but in the N-28 variant the wing position was changed to low wing, using a small jet engine as propulsion, and the shape of the rear tail wing uses a T-tail model which is more suitable for small aircraft.
